Not All Help Requires Money

Cordova, TN; July 26, in the year of our Lord 2021 -- Family Friendly Gaming, the industry leader in covering the family friendly video games is continuing to be the voice of diversity in the gaming media, and media at large. You might have noticed a Help button in the header of most pages on the Family Friendly Gaming website. There has been all kinds of discussion and commentary about that as well as the topic is touches. Family Friendly Gaming has never been financially independent. I work a day job, and Yolanda works a part time job to be able to pay for much of what Family Friendly Gaming does. We do not charge you the readers anything for all of the coverage we do. We do not charge the companies like bloggers. We are in essence a hybrid between a gaming media outlet and a blog here at Family Friendly Gaming. We are open, honest and transparent at Family Friendly Gaming. We share thoughts, a perspective, and ideas that we believe would make the video game industry better.

The Help button brings you to the How You Can Help page. The first thing that helps us is your prayers. Advertiser support is the next one. Did you know you can tell other companies about Family Friendly Gaming? There are readers that fill out company surveys and leave them comments that they should advertise with us. Those messages, posts, and comments help us. We are not capable of reaching everyone. There are also readers that retweet, reply, and comment on stories we post on social media. All of those things help us. More people are exposed to Family Friendly Gaming and that increases views, and hits. That in turn gets more companies interested in advertising because there is a larger audience to reach. That then leads to more people learning about God and how He wants a personal relationship with them.

Donations can be a plethora of things. We get sent products all the time. Donations does not always mean money. You can donate some time telling others about Family Friendly Gaming. Word of mouth goes a long way for Family Friendly Gaming. I have heard from multiple people who bought a copy of one of my books because someone else told them how great it was. Watching videos, hitting the like button, and leaving comments always help us. Those ads on the video sharing sites bring in financial revenue to us as well. I know people that leave their device on, walk away and let the advertisement play. They can come back and fast forward the video to the end. We get a view, and the advertiser winds up sending us a few pennies. It really helps us out and you spent nothing.

I know a lot of people that say they do not have money or products to sponsor Family Friendly Gaming. Just like the advertising you could always leave a comment for a company to sponsor Family Friendly Gaming. We have gotten plenty of sponsorships thanks to word of mouth. We also love it when ya’ll come and watch a sponsored live stream and click on the sponsor’s link. You can even watch the live stream when it becomes a video and click on the sponsor's link. All of those things provide us more sponsorships. We keep working on trying to grow that area of Family Friendly Gaming. We strive for this to be a full time job for our entire family and beyond as some point. It is obvious after all of these years of pro bono work for billionaire video game companies that they do nothing to help us continue to exist unless prompted by you.

I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day.

God bless,
Paul Bury
