Physical Copies Make it Possible

Cordova, TN; March 1 in the year of our Lord 2021 -- Family Friendly Gaming, the industry leader in covering the family friendly video games is continuing to be the voice of diversity in the gaming media, and media at large. We love making FFG Haul videos. We are so very pleased to move the FFG Haul videos into live streams. We are having a total blast making FFG Haul live streams. We love interacting with all ya'll that come by and chat during those FFG Haul live streams. Noah loves seeing how many of ya'll smash that like button. Something about FFG Haul live streams stuck out to me. I know the Japanese believe the nail that sticks out gets whacked. Maybe that is exactly why I noticed this interesting little tidbit. As ya'll know Family Friendly Gaming has been a long time supporter of physical copies. Do you see where this is going?

If it were not for the physical copies then we would have nothing to show in the FFG Haul live streams. How would we show all ya'll a bunch of downloaded games that are so disposable that they are deleted once the review is done? This is what stuck out to me. Without the physical copy products there would be no FFG Haul videos or live streams. How lame would that be? We have fun making them and doing them. Ya'll have fun watching and interacting. As some companies are pushing the digital downloads, we realize they are trying to take some fun away from all of us. That is not very cool. I hope you agree with me on that. Limited Run Games and Super Rare Games are a couple of companies that have been providing gamers with physical copies of games that we would normally not be able to purchase. I applaud both of these companies for what they are doing.

For quite some time now we have been asking the video game industry to create a process where gamers could purchase any digital only video game in the physical copy format by demand. What I mean by that is have a place that will only create the package for the gamer when the order is made. Want Dungeons & Dragons Chronicles of Mystara in a physical copy format? Then make the order and the company burns the game onto the cartridge, adds the art, puts the case together and there you go. I believe there is a place in our industry for bare bones physical copies of these games. I love what Super Rare Games and Limited Run Games is doing. I don't always want a massive package with all kinds of goodies with some of these games. I know what they are doing works and it makes money. I gotta go put in an order for one of these games so we have something else cool to show in an upcoming FFG Haul live stream.

I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day.

God bless,
Paul Bury
