Working Through Depression

Cordova, TN; April 19, in the year of our Lord 2021 -- Family Friendly Gaming, the industry leader in covering the family friendly video games is continuing to be the voice of diversity in the gaming media, and media at large. It can be so easy to get depressed about so many of the horrible things going on in this world. Some people ask: "why does God allow all this evil?" The simple answer is because we all have free will. That means some people will make the wrong choices. Some people will live selfishly. Some people will do whatever feels good to them at that time. Some people will get pleasure from giving pain to others. Some people will support Satan in destruction, mayhem, and disorder. Some people will do all they can to make the world a worse place to live for all of us. Some people want all of us to live in the mud with them.

The other side of the coin is there are numerous people who do the right thing. There are plenty of people who never get rewarded in this life for helping others. There are people that are not all about their own happiness and pleasure. There are people that comprehend how great it is to serve others. There are people who will do all they can to elevate and improve the lives of others. There are so many people who will help you out when you are down and out. There are so many wonderful people who will give their all to assist and help you. There are so many great people who will follow the rules and do the right thing. There are so many people who will sacrifice for others. There are so many people who willingly serve God out of love, respect, and appreciation.

Where is your focus? Are you focusing on the good or focusing on the bad? Whenever I start to get depressed I am focusing on the bad. I am focusing on what I don't have. When I am happy I am appreciative of all I do have. Ultimately in my opinion it comes down to focus and perspective. Do I dwell on my blessings? Or do I dwell on what I am not currently experiencing? My experience is the more I focus on the wicked, evil, vile, and disgusting things the more it depresses me. Instead when I focus on the good, just, honorable, loving, caring, and considerate things the happier I am. This is just my two cents on this topic. What are your thoughts?

I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day.

God bless,
