Building the Dream
Cordova, TN; April 4, in the year of our Lord 2022 -- Family Friendly Gaming, the industry leader in covering the family friendly video games is continuing to be the voice of diversity in the gaming media, and media at large. I have always been a first fruits kind of a guy as opposed to a last call. Another way of looking at that is I love getting my chores done early and then if there is time left to relax. I am an early bird versus a night owl. I like to strike while the iron is hot. I want to get things done and mark them off my list. So at times it exhausts me to mainly be able to stream at the end of the day when I am trying to stay conscious. I want to stream earlier in the day. That is not happening because this wonderful work I love doing does not pay the bills. Yolanda and I both have day jobs to pay the bills. This may surprise you but thank you emails from PR and Marketing folks do not pay our bills. Even after our hard work has helped them make massive profits.
I have no interest in guilt tripping the greedy. I do not state these facts for them to begrudgingly hand over some money for sponsorships, advertising, and donations. I state these facts because they are the reality. They are where we are. We are totally transparent. I realized one night while I was setting up a stream that I was living the dream. I love streaming. I love showing off these different video games. I love interacting with you the viewer/reader. There are so many times I start a stream exhausted and ya’ll give me the energy to keep going. I usually end the stream exhausted but that is fine. It is great that ya’ll give me that spike of energy. I am smiling right now as I write this.
I am going to keep working on making this sustainable. I consider this to be day one of living the dream. Each article, stream, and more is one step closer to that dream becoming a reality. We have been working as a family to slowly get ourselves out of debt. We are not there yet. We work each day toward that goal. It is the same thing with doing this ministry full time. We are putting down the blocks one at a time to make this house. The cornerstone has been placed and we are building upon it. We may have set backs here and there. Some walls may fall down. We will clean up the mess and get back to the business of achieving the goal. The dream has become a goal. We are one day closer. You are here to witness some history.

We are on fire with the passion we have. We have seen more and more people coming to watch us burn. It does not end here. We are moving toward the goal. We are moving toward the dream. I am bubbling with excitement. I am not looking back. I am looking ahead. There are great things awaiting us up that road. I am so thankful you are here watching us burn with our passion. I am so excited that we are one step, one brick, and one day closer. Get ready because fires can rage. You don’t want to miss what comes next do you?
