Fall Guys Free For All Impressions

Cordova, TN; July 4, in the year of our Lord 2022 -- Family Friendly Gaming, the industry leader in covering the family friendly video games is continuing to be the voice of diversity in the gaming media, and media at large. If you have been a long time reader and a long time viewer of our live streams then you know I enjoy me some Fall Guys Ultimate Knockout. I have played Fall Guys Ultimate Knockout since near the end of the first season. I only leveled up to level twelve in the first season (out of forty at that time). Since then I have maxed level every single season. I had a lot of hype and excitement over Fall Guys Free For All. I do not mind the game resetting at season one. It is neat so see some of the new ideas and the new modes. I noticed MediaTonic has shortened some of the modes so more games can be played in the same time.

The whole Show Bucks controversy has irritated quite a few long time Fall Guys fans. I do not mind it. Let me explain why. I have a ton of really cool skins in Fall Guys already. In fact I have so many skins, colors, emotes, patterns, and faces that I cannot even use them all. I wish I would have gotten that hot dog skin from season one. Maybe it will come back and not as that burnt looking Veggie Dog skin they gave me for being a legacy player. I ran the numbers and since I have the first season pass for free I will get 1,800 Show Bucks before I would need to purchase the season pass for the second season at 950 Show Bucks. I will just be frugal with my Show Bucks and not buy anything with them to keep them available for the Season Pass. I have seen some cool new skins but I won't spend the Show Bucks because they are needed for the Season Passes.

I got a ton of Kudos thanks to the crowns I had left over. I am not buying everything in the Kudos shop because I might as well and I have a ton to use. There were some cool new skins for being a legacy player and that is definitely appreciated. The new modes took me a bit to get used to. Once I figured them out I am all in on this season. I was expecting a major player ability drop with so many new players. Sadly it has only impacted Duos and Squads. I seem to be in final round with players as good or even better than me. It is taking a long time to level up which is annoying. The daily, weekly, and marathon goals are pretty cool. I just wish the daily would stop with the play Duos and Squads.

All in all Fall Guys Free to Play continues to do a good job. There are definitely some areas that still need to be improved in Fall Guys. First off I am sick of bumping into something and falling down. The only thing that makes that worse is when my character rolls around. Bouncing on pads and going through rings is great in Fall Guys. Getting bumped by another player and losing all my momentum is lame. Grabbing and lag continue to be a problem in Fall Guys. MediaTonic is not listening on this topic because they give us a marathon goal of grabbing in Team modes. Why? I could not get that many grabs in a year so I am not worried about that marathon goal. Lag can also be an issue. I am more irritated by the falling down for no reason on modes like Hex-A-Ring Cylinder. When those tiles go away rolling around is a bad thing to have happen. Plus the cylinder is rotating. I have been messed over by that too many times to count already.

I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day.

God bless,
Paul Bury
