Ashen Arrows Announced
Budapest, Hungary –May 8, in the year of our Lord 2023–
Independent development studio Rusty Pipes Games will be
launching Ashen Arrows in Early Access on Steam in Q2 2023.
Ashen Arrows is a rogue-like wave-defense adventure game in
which players act as archers who must defend their base against
waves of enemies with various skills, arrows, modifiers, and
tactics.
The game's early access release includes Saga mode, where
players can experience the story of a heroic Viking archer, and
Bastion mode, which features three realms from Norse mythology
and randomized gameplay elements for infinite replayability. In
the co-op mode, players can team up to play the Bastion game
mode together.
Players can customize their banners and appearances to showcase
their Viking character, and the game includes various maps with
different enemies and challenges to defeat, ultimately leading
to a quest to stop Ragnarök. A downloadable demo version of
Ashen Arrows is currently available on Steam.

Bastion mode with 4 maps featuring different realms.

Co-op mode allowing up to three players to join forces.
Option to engage in the Bastion game mode in co-op.

Environmental elements like barrels, fire, and lightning to
alter the battleground.
Different maps with different enemies and counter-tactics to
adapt to the situation.

in the US at this time.
