Disappointments
Cordova, TN; August 28, in the year of our Lord 2023
-- Family Friendly Gaming, the industry leader in
covering the family friendly video games is continuing to be the
voice of diversity in the gaming media, and media at large. The
older I get the more disappointments I must face. Day in and day
out there are different aspects of life that are disappointing.
There are other people to deal with. Someone is in front of you
on the free way in the fastest lane going ten under the speed
limit. No one will let you over to the right. Yes that can be
very disappointing. It seems like every day I drive on the
freeway I run into that problem. I get to my destinations in
spite of the other drivers.
There are sequels we have wanted for years. These greedy
extremely wealthy companies do not want to make them. They feel
they will not make enough profits from that investment. Or they
want us the gaming community to pay them to make certain games.
There are the extremely wealthy video game companies that do not
want to advertise. They will advertise as long as their game
gets a score of 100. There are of course bought and paid for
gaming media outlet sites that happily give them whatever they
want because they have no honor or integrity. There are all of
liars and deceivers at so many video game companies. They are a
real disappointment.
I am sure you can find all kinds of things in your life that is
a disappointment. My hope is you will work on finding the good,
uplifting and helpful things in life instead. We can dwell on
the negative or find the positives. I watched a movie recently
where an abused wage slave in Japan faced the zombie apocalypse.
He was so happy that he did not have to go to work that day.
Imagine facing that massive problem and he found a cool thing to
be happy and positive about. Can you find some things to be
happy and positive about?
