Forgotten Skies Closed Beta Coming Spring 2024

December 25, in the year of our Lord 2023 -- Shortly before Christmas, developer Chrysalis Interactive announced that their upcoming genre-mixed game Forgotten Skies will enter the so-called closed beta phase in spring next year and will be released for pre-registration on Steam around January.

This means that a limited number of game testers will be given the opportunity to play and test the game in advance as part of the closed beta phase.

According to the developer, the goal of the beta is to get a first impression of the witty platform adventure. Initial performance and other tests will be conducted at the same time.

Chrysalis Interactive has not yet officially announced the size of the playable test version of the game or how many game testers will have the opportunity to play the pre-release version of the game.

In a post by Daniel Gippert, the founder and CEO of Chrysalis Interactive, it has been announced that a small number of game testers will be given a small gift set to take home.

Forgotten Skies will be released on Steam in the third quarter of 2024, according to the development studio. According to official information, the single-player game is a so-called mixed-genre platform adventure in which the player controls an extremely funny bobble-head character through a colorful and adventurous world. In addition to exciting quests, the player encounters all kinds of funny and mysterious NPCs.

The game is a mixture of a classic platform game with adventure elements to provide the player with a fun gaming experience.
