From Below Pocket Announced

 

 

Vancouver, Canada –September 25, in the year of our Lord 2023– The creator of the homebrew game, Witch n’ Wiz, has announced that his next game, From Below Pocket, is now available for Game Boy and Game Boy Color on pre-order until October 16, 2023, at $79.99 CAD.

The game is available in a complete package that includes a cart, a plastic case, a box, a manual, and a cardboard tray insert.

From Below Pocket is a puzzle game that involves defending a fortress from a Kraken by strategically dropping blocks, combining traditional gameplay with inventive features and improved controls shaped by player input.

The game offers a competitive multiplayer mode for two players via a Game Link cable, supports compatibility with all Game Boy models, and includes an on-cartridge battery for saving high scores and game settings.

From Below is also being re-issued on NES on pre-order for $89.99 CAD. The packages include a cart (broken studio components), box, manual, plastic sleeve (black), and styrofoam insert. It is also available for the VS.System Arcade.
