Give Me Money
Cordova, TN; September 18, in the year of our Lord 2023
-- Family Friendly Gaming, the industry leader in covering the
family friendly video games is continuing to be the voice of
diversity in the gaming media, and media at large. Can you guess
what an extremely high percentage of the emails, direct
messages, and other communications involve? It boils down to one
thing. That one thing is - give me money. It astounds me that
there are so many people constantly contacting us and all they
want from us is money. Whether it is some scam artist making a
false claim or someone wanting us to hire them. There are days
that the only likes and retweets we get are from graphic artists
that want us to hire them. At this point I just roll my eyes.
We purchase what we want, when we want, and how we want. Every
single one of these people emailing and direct messaging are
wasting their time. I used to try and give likes back to those
that gave us likes. I would also follow back those that were
clean that followed us. I stopped that some months back because
they would think that meant I wanted to give them money. I gave
them a like back or follow back only. That was the extent of my
interest. They took it as an open door for me to give them
millions of dollars. All of their dreams were coming true. I do
not have time to deal with it.
At this point I do not respond to anyone asking me to pay them
for any services. Whether they are offering me a financial
system, HR system, video, audio, graphics or something else I
immediately delete and ignore. There are some that check back
like a total nuisance again and again. We address this behavior
on our Legal page. Pointing it out and asking them nicely to
respect our rules and to pay the fines they incurred do not make
them go away either. They just keep begging for money again and
again. Want to know the sad truth? Want to know a reality? We do
not have the money to hire them. They are totally barking up the
wrong tree.
