Lies I am Tired of - We Provide for Everyone

Cordova, TN; June 26, in the year of our Lord 2023 -- Family Friendly Gaming, the industry leader in covering the family friendly video games is continuing to be the voice of diversity in the gaming media, and media at large. I realized recently that there are plenty of lies I am sick and tired of hearing. This has turned into a series of articles. We just finished our live streams and video recordings of all of these FFG Reacts to the Summer Game Fest events. I noticed a pattern from a great many companies. I am so sick and tired of this. I am sick and tired of hearing: "we provide for everyone." They put it at the beginning and at the end. It is such a lie that I will expose in the next paragraph.

Where were the kids games? Where were the Christian video games? I just exposed two kinds of video games that were missing. They had none of those present. So how are you providing for everyone if you ignore billions of Christians on the planet? Obviously you had nothing for Christians which means you did not provide for everyone. The same thing goes for the kids video games. I saw no video games targeting the younger members of the family. There are all kinds of kids around so you did not provide for them. Which means you did not provide for everyone. It is such an easy lie to expose. Yet company after company keeps repeating it.

I saw game after game with blood, gore, bad language, morbid, and macabre content. Which means those games are not providing for clean, moral, ethical, and honorable gamers. There could be an argument made here and there that there are some clean video games. The Wholesome Game Show for example had a lot of evil, vile, and wicked witches in it. They called those games clean. There are others that would disagree with you on that. I did see a couple of video games that looked clean. To be completely transparent I only saw a minute or two of those games. I did not completely play through them to verify the content. It is kind of difficult to do when the games have not been released.

We love to think for ourselves. We love to encourage you to think for yourselves. Just because some higher up at some video game company says something, does not mean it is true. Use analysis and look at it. They like to say they provide for everyone. You now know that is a lie. I am sure there are plenty of others they do not provide for as well. I bet if you took a few minutes you could come up with other groups that were not provided for as well. Who is holding these video game companies accountable for making these lies? Who is challenging them with the truth? Besides the obvious answer of Family Friendly Gaming. Anyone else out there in video game media doing their jobs? Or do they just repeat the lies?

I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day.

God bless,
Paul Bury
