Power Through

Cordova, TN; June 12, in the year of our Lord 2023 -- Family Friendly Gaming, the industry leader in covering the family friendly video games is continuing to be the voice of diversity in the gaming media, and media at large. I recently got hurt in a freak accident. I made a judgement call on something, and it was the wrong call. Plenty of pain and suffering. I powered through as much as I could. I have a very long history of powering through. I power through the same chores day after day. I perform live streams night after night. Taking care of website and magazine while sick and hurt is nothing new for me.

This time the pain was something I was not used to. Bear in mind I work out three to four times a week so I am accustom to physical pain. Mainly the muscle pain, but sometimes nerve pain. Emotional and psychological pain are nothing new to me either. The older you get the more practice you get with that kind of pain. The older you get the more you realize how selfish, self-centered, self-absorbed and immature most others are. The shocks come when you run across others that actually do care and are actually interested in others. Those are the kinds of people to keep in your life.

The absolute worst thing for me is to lay there and not being able to get things done. I love to work hard and hustle. I love getting things done. I love getting progress day by day on project after project. Maybe that is why there is so little time for me - I do so much. I help so many. I serve faithfully even if no one else cares. I power through. I might be dead beat exhausted about ready to pass out. I put one foot in front of the other and power through. It is who I am. I have pushed myself beyond my limits. I now know where they are. I know when to stop. I know when to take a break. Speaking of that, it is now time for a break.

I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day.

God bless,
Paul Bury
