Take money and do nothing

-- Family Friendly Gaming, the industry leader in
covering the family friendly video games is continuing to be the
voice of diversity in the gaming media, and media at large. We
have discussed many of the major issues in the video game
industry for years. The failures of PR and Marketing are
mounting and growing in our beloved industry. There are more and
more games appearing on store shelves that we never heard about.
What are the people in PR and Marketing actually doing? They are
not getting the word out. They are failing at reaching the
audience. They fail at reaching Family Friendly Gaming Universe
again and again. How can they be fixed?
Recently I received some shocking information from multiple
people in PR and Marketing, as well as people in advertising.
Here is the skinny on what is happening in our industry. These
people in PR and Marketing are taking money from the companies
and doing little to nothing. They will take the money and not
actually do any advertising. How can they rob the companies this
way? The logic is many times these games sell themselves so they
don't need to do anything. They were paid to do a job and then
refuse to do what they promised. How scummy and slimy are these
people? Why are these companies paying them anything at all
ever?
I can speak for Family Friendly Gaming and tell you that we
could definitely use some of that money. I would love to be able
to do this work full time. When dishonorable, greedy, slimy, and
scummy people are keeping money that should come to us then we
have a real problem. The solution here seems really simple. All
of these video game companies need to come directly to Family
Friendly Gaming to advertise. Take the middle man out of the
equation. Come directly to us and we will treat you fairly. We
keep our word. We have honor. We will do right by you. Actually
we have already done right by you with spending so much time and
money covering your previous and existing products. We will work
with you on your advertisements and sponsorships. We have all
kinds of options available.
