Truths to Share - Advertisers Needed

Cordova, TN; May 15, in the year of our Lord 2023 -- Family Friendly Gaming, the industry leader in covering the family friendly video games is continuing to be the voice of diversity in the gaming media, and media at large. There are so many truths I love to share. This turned into a series of articles. There are plenty of companies we have helped make all kinds of money over the years. Those companies need to step up and do the right thing. Those companies need to invest some of those massive profits in keeping Family Friendly Gaming open, healthy, and functioning. Do you want Family Friendly Gaming to go the way of BuzzFeed News? We have day jobs to pay for the work Family Friendly Gaming does. We could do so much more for the industry if we could just do this full time. For that to happen these companies need to put their money where their mouths are.

I am so sick and tired of everyone telling me: "we have no budget." In a few cases that might be accurate. The small one shop indie guy trying to make a game and has a day job himself. When companies send out bragging emails that they made hundreds of millions of dollars they cannot expect me to believe they have no budget. What makes it even worse is our rates are really low. They are getting a deal. They could ask a few employees to bypass coffee for one morning and easily pay for the advertising with Family Friendly Gaming. We need them to step up and do the right thing. This is getting old. I am tired of all of these companies never wanting to do anything to help us. Why are you so selfish?

We have already gone to bat for them again and again. We have already helped them make all kinds of money. We have already done work that makes them profits. I see they advertise with other gaming media outlets. Why discriminate against Family Friendly Gaming? If it is because we are Christian then they are violating the First Amendment. The whole Budweiser controversy is interesting to me because we reached out to over five hundred American companies to advertise with us. Guess what we were told? We were told: "your company morals, ethics and values do not align with ours." Christian values do not align with their company values? Preaching obedience to God and love do not align with their company values? So their company values are rebellion against God and hatred then. Why would any Christian financial support any of those companies? Churches could step up and send funding to Family Friendly Gaming. Will they? Oh yeah that is right not in their budget like Sherwood Baptist told us after bragging about making 300 million dollars.

I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day.

God bless,
