Truths to Share - Release Immediately
Cordova, TN; May 22, in the year of our Lord 2023
-- Family Friendly Gaming, the industry leader in covering the
family friendly video games is continuing to be the voice of
diversity in the gaming media, and media at large. There are
less people pulling my strings these days. I have seen through
the smoke and am not moved by emails that start with or have a
subject line of: "RELEASE IMMEDIATELY," or "IMMEDIATELY
RELEASE." Especially from millionaire and billionaire moochers
who never pay for the hard work we do that makes them money.
They take us for granted and have this entitlement mentality.
I heard this quite often: "I sent you a press release when are
you going to post it?" First off we publish. Stop trying to
diminish the hard work we do. Secondly there is no guarantee we
will publish what you sent to us. Do you know how many times I
get gross, disgusting, macabre, and morbid press releases? I get
press releases with profanity, attacks on Christians, hatred of
conservatives and more. I am not going to publish garbage and
filth. Do they even consider properly targeting? Do they even
think before they send off another email? If you want to know
why you did not get through the gate keeper you could ask that.
You might want to consider doing something nice instead of
acting like you are paying me for the work I do that makes you
money. In all reality they are not paying for the work so come
across as highly offensive.
Another nicer email I get will say: "Is there anything I can do
to assist you with covering this product?" That is nice. It
would be even nicer if they actually meant it. Why do I say they
did not mean it? I tell them what helps us continue to exist,
and be able to publish more content like their press release
that did not make the cut. Not one of them ever does one thing I
suggest. They will say whatever to get their way. When it comes
to paying the piper they are no longer capable of finding the
reply button or keeping their word. I now see through that
mirage.
Ultimately it comes down to this. They have a time table they
are one. They expect me to be on their time table. I am not. I
cannot meet their time table. I am tired. I am sick and tired of
making all these people's dreams come true and they never once
consider doing anything helpful to Family Friendly Gaming. Even
when I ask and make important points that show it will help them
in the long run. At this point I decide what we will publish and
when. If you do not like that, then go to the Help page and
start being part of the solution.
