Truths to Share - Trying New Things

Cordova, TN; April 10, in the year of our Lord 2023 -- Family Friendly Gaming, the industry leader in covering the family friendly video games is continuing to be the voice of diversity in the gaming media, and media at large. There are so many truths I love to share. This is now a series. I am not a quitter. I try and try. I consistently try new things. I take trainings and see what I can apply to improve our situation. I have dreams and visions for the future. Part of that is trying things just a little bit differently. When I find something that works I stick with it until I have completed it or the return has been diminished. We have learned over the years what works and what does not work. We don't just sit with what works though. We try new things to see if they will work.

Take the YouTube shorts for example. We tried them, and had some success. We then tried different shorts. Let us try this collectible set and see how it does. Let us try some Funko Pops. Let us try some food. Let us try clothing. We keep tryng new and different things for us. Some take off like the Princess videos and others lag behind like the Funko Pops. We keep testing new and different things to see what works. We always need your help with likes and comments. Those always help us get more views. We post on social media quite a bit, and we get additional viewers and views from it. We have tried different social media outlets and had varying degree of success.

We have tried a ton of new things with the Family Friendly Gaming website. FFG Original articles were new at one point in time. The Truths to Share column was new at one point in time. We get plenty of positive feedback. We had a request for more information on the games in the magazine and e-magazine on the picture pages. We applied a redesign and put in text about the game on the picture pages. We listen to your feedback. When we have the time and financial resources to test it then we go for it. As I look back at the history of Family Friendly Gaming I realize we have a long history of trying new things. Sometimes I wish we would have started some things sooner. We have gotten better at that in recent years.

I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day.

God bless,
Paul Bury
