Bumping it up to the Top
Cordova, TN; April 8, in the year of
our Lord 2024 -- Family Friendly Gaming, the industry
leader in covering the family friendly video games is continuing
to be the voice of diversity in the gaming media, and media at
large. I find it absolutely hilarious when someone wants to
check in on an email when they know our policies and procedures.
They know by emailing us they agree to all of our terms of
service per our Legal page. They know that checking in on an
email carries a processing fee they must pay before we will do
any research on whatever they are checking in on. So the new
thing they like to try and do is: "Bump it up to the top." They
resend the email or reply to it and CC: us to bump it to the top
of our email box. That way it gets seen and we will spend our
very limited money on publishing it to make them and their
client all kinds of money.
Know what is completely lost in that entire process? Us getting
paid for any of our hard work that they financially profit from.
Did you know that we lose money on ninety-eight percent of the
content we publish? Did you know I have a day job to pay for all
of this wonderful content? Did you know I also work on videos
and live streams to also pay for all of this publishing? All of
these millionaire moochers expect us to be their slave labor. I
got tired of it. I got tired of killing myself for people who do
not care about me at all. I got sick and tired of these
self-centered, center of the universe disease people expressing
their entitlement for me to make them even wealthier. All the
while they attack our morals, beliefs with their hateful
rebellion and virtue signaling.
Over the years there have been a few instances where we missed
something we wanted to publish. I am talking like one percent of
the content that is sent to us. Not a lot. Not very often. The
people in PR and Marketing (that never want to pay for any of
the marketing) seem to expect us to respond to whatever garbage
they send to us. They are being paid to represent their clients.
We are not being paid to publish whatever they send. We get bump
ups on things that are the opposite of family friendly. We get
bump ups on things we have told them again and again we do not
cover. Since they are not capable to listening I feel no
obligation to respond. Bump it up all you want. Guess what I do
when I see bump up? I instantly delete. For anyone confused
about not getting a response - read this article.
I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day.
God bless,
Paul Bury
