Cantos Games is proud to invite players of all ages and
experience levels to partake in - and tryout Coloniser, the
studios debut Massively Multiplayer RTS challenging you to build
a new colony, recruit massive armies, and wage war against other
players or build your own kingdom. Coloniser will be part of the
upcoming STEAM™ NextFest commencing February 2025 and will
officially launch via Early Access in June. Qualifying players
can sign up for playtesting today.
Coloniser is an open-world sandbox survival RTS where the future
meets past; the game is set in a unique world featuring base
building, persistent servers (up to 90 days), and high-player
counts (currently 16 players). Your ultimate objective is to
colonize a base region using your starting colonist and build an
independent kingdom or battle, ally, and trade with other
players for supremacy. In the games Colony Mode, your progress
continues even when you log-off. Defend your kingdom with walls,
towers and castles among other things, and reinforce and
garrison with units to defend your lands. Currently all players
begin with the same basic colonist that serves as both an
economic and military capable unit. This unit can build your
first homestead wherever you desire.
Coloniser currently supports up to (16) concurrent players and
colonies can last up to 90 days beginning in the Primitive Era
allowing you to advance to New Eras for additional Technologies
The world in Coloniser is dangerous as you traverse through a
world of deep conflict and divide. Human colonists have crash
landed on the wrong planet, destroying all their equipment.
They’ve survived, formed scattered colonies, but after a few
generations, all knowledge of advanced technology has become
legend. Now they live in several tribes, always in conflict with
each other and amongst themselves. Armies are styled on medieval
Europe, but not bound by historical restraints. As your colony
accumulates resources you can advance your colony's era to
unlock additional buildings, units, and upgrades. If you are
defeated, and all units and buildings are destroyed, you may
rejoin a server to begin anew. Building and units are persistent
so even if you logoff your progress will remain until you
rejoin. It is wise to utilize defensive fortifications such as
towers, castles, and walls to help resist invaders.
