Ignoring our Rules

-- Family Friendly Gaming, the industry leader in covering the
family friendly video games is continuing to be the voice of
diversity in the gaming media, and media at large. I have
noticed a trend recently that just makes me shake my head. It is
such a simple little test that so many people could easily pass
if they actually paid any attention whatsoever. Yet person after
person fails again and again. I think some people are so self
absorbed that they are not listening to the feedback they are
being given. They expect one answer in response and when they do
not get it they go back to the first question. Maybe they are
bots, maybe they are AI, or maybe they are just some program
being run. Ultimately they are wasting their time, and computer
cycles.
Are you intrigued for details on what I am referencing? Here we
go. I get emails asking me for money and/or meetings. Obviously
these people have not taken the time to properly target. Oh
wait, there is an FFG Original article on that topic. We have
already answered their questions and helped them save some time.
Yet they are too lazy to check it out. They are too lazy to read
out Legal page on asking for meetings. Hint there is a
scheduling check cost fee for that. Do they bother to check that
page out? Nope. What is really hilarious is when I give them a
link to the page and tell them their question is answered there.
Would you believe some still cannot be bothered to read the
words on that page? They just ask for a meeting again. I am
shocked and amazed they are so clueless.
I write this article in hopes that the people that need it will
actually do their jobs properly and stop being so absolutely
insane. You can ignore our rules. You can disrespect us. You can
be completely clueless. Can you guess what your reward for that
is? We will never work with you ever. If you are trying to lose
business then ignore our rules, beliefs, and disrespect us. If
you are the last vendor on the planet for something we will go
without instead of ever giving you any money. Right now we do
not have the money to pay you so it is a moot point. If we ever
bring in massive amounts of money, and are looking for things to
spend it on - we will never spend it on you.
This is a test they are being given. How intelligent are they?
Can they obey our rules? Will they respect us enough to renew
their minds in a way that means something to us? If you can obey
our rules, respect us, and read what is important to us, then we
might try and find some way to work with you. Over and over
again I see people fail this test. They refuse to click on the
Advertise page. They refuse to click on the Legal page. They
obsess over themselves and completely ignore what is important
to us. They fail the first rule of sales. They waste their own
time, and their own computer cycles. Maybe someday they will buy
a vowel and get a clue.
