- Microids, the renowned French video game publisher, are
excited to announce their participation at this year's gamescom.
From August 21 to 25, 2024, visitors to Hall 6, booth B060
(alongside Astragon Entertainment) will have the opportunity to
experience first-hand three of the publisher's latest and most
exciting titles.
Not only insect fans but also strategy lovers should not miss
the presentation of Empire of the Ants! Inspired by Bernard
Werber's iconic saga, players take on the role of a brave ant
named 103.683e in the third-person view. An exciting adventure
awaits them, in which they must lead an ant colony to prosperity
through tactical and strategic battles in a world of epic scale.
Strategy, exploration, combat and alliances with the local
wildlife are essential to overcome the many challenges that
await players.
Those who don't need solid ground under their feet and would
rather embark on a pirate adventure can look forward to Flint:
Treasure of Oblivion. Players are transported back to the golden
age of piracy in this turn-based tactical RPG and join Captain
Flint, his second-in-command Billy Bones and their band of
veterans of the seas in search of a legendary treasure that
promises freedom and riches!
What goes on in the head of a sleeping Smurf? Gamescom visitors
can find out in The Smurfs - Dreams. Gargamel has hatched
another diabolical plan... This time he has cast a cunning spell
on the Sarsaparilla bushes, the Smurfs' favorite food, to put
our little friends into a deep sleep. Players embark on a
magical expedition to awaken all the Smurfs before Gargamel
reaches their village. In a world where dreams can turn into
nightmares, the fate of the Smurf Village is in your hands
alone!
