My biggest issues with Just Dance
Family Friendly Gaming News
Cordova, TN; November 11, in the year of our Lord 2024
-- Family Friendly Gaming, the industry leader in
covering the family friendly video games is continuing to be the
voice of diversity in the gaming media, and media at large.
Since we have so many Just Dance videos on our YouTube channel I
field a plethora of different questions. We created numerous
videos answering a lot of these questions. I felt like writing
an article on the topic as well. Hopefully some of the people
will actually read it before sending in questions that have been
answered numerous times before. I can hope can't I? The other
option is to provide them a copy of the link to this story when
they ask the questions that have been answered so many times
before.
My biggest complaint against Just Dance is the audio copyright
owners taking all of the money for our hard work. We have
copyrights in there too, but are not allowed to be paid for
them. Why is that? Why are we second class citizens? Why are
their copyrights more important than ours? Can't Ubisoft find
songs that we can get paid for our hard work? Why are we treated
like slave labor? Does anyone else even care? This issue causes
us to work day jobs to pay for the equipment we use since the
Just Dance videos do not let us get paid. Why is the dance
screen only 25% of the screen now Ubisoft? This is how women
streamers like to do things - make themselves the focus of the
video. We want to be less and focus more on the game. Why such
discrimination against the manly way of doing things?
Dance injuries are a thing. Dance injuries are real. I suffer in
pain for months while recording Just Dance videos. It might be
better if these songs would properly score the moves. I am sick
and tired of pointing out the controls do not properly register.
Things were so much better with the Kinect sensor. Ubisoft
dropped that support and force us to connect to their servers.
Which makes everything worse in terms of scoring, playing, and
enjoyment. Also why don't we have a physical copy of the game
anymore? That is really lame and annoying Ubisoft. Come on, stop
making the experience so much worse. Ubisoft claims to support
diversity, and then they force us into a one size fits all
experience. Lame, lame, and more lame.
The song selection has been bad for some time now. Where are the
Christian songs for the super majority of Americans that
identify as Christian? Why are we constantly being attacked and
harassed? Why are morals and ethics a bad thing in the eyes of
Ubisoft? Why is obedience to God attacked in Just Dance video
games? They can't even throw us a bone here. Over and over again
there are offensive songs with offensive lyrics, and those are
celebrated. Anything good, wholesome, uplifting, and Godly is
ignored or attacked. Why? Year after year I see songs I never
heard of before. Who is picking these songs? Is Sweet Baby
consulting with Ubisoft on this? Hire me to help you with some
good ones.
I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day.
God bless,
Paul Bury
