Not Accepting Change

-- Family Friendly Gaming, the industry leader in covering the
family friendly video games is continuing to be the voice of
diversity in the gaming media, and media at large. I write about
a plethora of different topics. The business environment is
something that really interests me. We see different employers
trying to force people back into the office and facing all kinds
of backlash. Some of these business leaders will say things
like: "people just do not like change." Is that really the case
here? How many of these people changed for the pandemic? How
many people were changed by the pandemic? Is it really they do
not want to accept change?
A more interesting point to make is all these business leaders
that refused to accept the change from and by the pandemic. So
we have people that never accepted change, now projecting that
on workers that changed for and were changed by the pandemic.
Those workers proved they can accept change because they did for
the pandemic. The change they accepted made things better for
them. If you are requiring your workers to go back into the
office what are you doing about commute time? Workers that can
work remote do not need to lose time to a commute. So why would
you steal that time from them? How do you compensate them for
that time?
I personally find it sad that there are some people in positions
of leadership that never accepted the changes of the pandemic. I
also find it sad that there are people in leadership positions
that were never changed by the pandemic. I find it disturbing
that the leaders that refused to change for the pandemic are now
projecting their failure to change on others who proved they
can, will, and do accept change. They are accepting of change
that is good for them. They are not accepting of change that is
bad for them. Pandora's box was opened with the pandemic.
Workers eyes were opened to a lot of lies from leadership. When
will the leaders change to recognize that?
