Once Alive Releases
Family Friendly Gaming News
November 18, in the year of our Lord 2024– Solo
developer Cem Boray Yıldırım and publisher GameDev.ist have
announced that Once Alive, a story-driven, first-person
adventure game, is now available on Steam. A demo of the game is
also available.
Once Alive is an immersive game set sixteen years after
humanity’s extinction by a global virus where players control
James, who, alongside his brother, believes they are the last
survivors—until an invitation to a survivor base, HaustVille,
changes everything.
Determined to find others, the brothers abandon everything and
travel to HaustVille, but as they arrive, they sense that
something is wrong, leading them to question the village’s
mysterious emptiness.
With advanced Unreal Engine 5 technology, players explore
HaustVille’s eerie environments, uncovering stories through
atmospheric details and discovering an increasingly hostile
wilderness where heightened aggression in animals adds to the
survival challenge.
