Second Chapter of Kristala's Early Access Release Date

Family Friendly Gaming News

Mount Joy, PA – October 15, in the year of our Lord 2024 – Get ready to unleash your inner cat warrior as independent developer Astral Clocktower Studios today announces that the second Chapter for Kristala's Early Access release will launch on Steam on October 22.

The launch will feature two special, Halloween-themed helms, which will automatically be awarded to all players who already own the game or who purchase during the two-week launch discount period on Steam.

Kristala is a dark fantasy action RPG inviting players to embark on a hero's journey as a fierce, catlike warrior who must master Ailur’s ancient magics. The game features Sekiro-inspired, deflect-heavy combat; varied stealth mechanics; and acrobatic parkour to uncover a detailed story.

Players can customize their feline character, select a clan to determine the magic they’ll level, and unlock new abilities by progressing the core storyline. Exploration of the world reveals detailed lore via journals, NPC interactions, and special Kristal Memory items that recount past events.

A downloadable demo version of the game is currently available on Steam.

Features of Chapter II include:

Introduction of the biome for the necromantic Myrtuna clan (2 new level areas and a capital city).

New playable clan option (Tandara clan)

New magic / spell leveling tree (ice magic)

(2) new major NPCs & corresponding questlines.

(10) new enemies to battle.

(1) new boss fight, with a 2nd boss launching on Halloween.

Several new weapons and armor sets.

Introduction of basic Feline Skill Tree mechanics.
