-- Family Friendly Gaming, the industry leader in covering the
family friendly video games is continuing to be the voice of
diversity in the gaming media, and media at large. Noah and I
did a reaction live stream to The Game Awards 2024 the very next
night. The reason we wait a day to do a reaction to it is to
save time. The Game Awards 2024 was just under five hours. We
were able to our reaction in two hours and fifteen minutes. We
saved two and a half hours by being able to skip the copyrighted
music, and the macabre and morbid video games. Plus doing that
two hour and fifteen minute live stream was long. Going four
hours and fifty-one minutes would have been unbearable.
The good in The Game Awards 2024 was The Muppets. Those two old
men were perfect for this event and their zingers on the host
were fantastic. We got all of our laughs from those two. There
were presenters that need their mouths washed out with soap.
Someone should have bleeped them out and/or asked them to have a
little respect for those of us that are into events being family
friendly. I feel like the experience this year was better than
previous years. I found some things to like in The Game Awards
2024. It was neat to see Astro Bots win so many awards at The
Game Awards 2024.
An area I believe The Game Awards 2024 really needs to improve
upon is the diversity of games being selected for nomination.
There were the same games over and over again in The Game Awards
2024. I like to see different video games win things here and
there. It is annoying to see the same games nominated and win
again and again in The Game Awards 2024. Some of them we agreed
with but many we did not. It was nice to see the woke products
getting trashed and the non-woke ones winning. Maybe we need
some gamer only suggested sections in The Game Awards in the
future. I hope something is done to improve that next year.
