Family Friendly Gaming News

Walnut Creek, Calif. (July 18, in the year of our Lord 2024) – Maximum Entertainment, in collaboration with Gameloft and HarperCollins Productions, announced today that The Oregon Trail™, the hit summer successor to the classic strategy-adventure game, is now available physically and with additional Deluxe Edition content on Nintendo Switch and PS5 in North America, with European versions following on July 30th.

In The Oregon Trail, players will journey across the American West on an adventure of a lifetime, experiencing trials and tribulations as they strategize to stock their wagon, choose their traveling party, and make tough decisions on their trek to Oregon. Players will also learn the real history behind the trail, including Native American stories and perspectives. A modern twist on the classic game, The Oregon Trail features a blend of charming pixel art characters, 3D environments, and cutting-edge lighting and visual effects.

Unleash your pioneer spirit with 80+ species of fish to catch, multiple animals to collect, hunting, rafting, fording rivers, telling stories by the campfire, and much more.

The Oregon Trail Deluxe Edition includes:

· Cowboys and Critters DLC

· (PS5) 3 "Wish you were here" postcards from key in-game historical locations

· (NSW) 3 reversible "Now and then" art cards depicting images from yesteryear

· An Iconic Oregon Trail Reversible Coversheet that will invoke memories from days gone by
