Lesquin, January 22, in the year of our Lord 2025
- Ambulance Life: A Paramedic Simulator, the game from studio
Aesir Interactive and publisher NACON, topped the list of
most-played demos on Steam, following its launch on December 19.
For just under a month, players were able to step into the shoes
of a paramedic and experience his or her thrilling daily life,
and their combined efforts resulted in almost 145,000
interventions! Ambulance Life: A Paramedic Simulator will be
available on February 6, 2025 for PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S
and PC.
To suit all players, Ambulance Life: A Paramedic Simulator
features two game modes: “Classic” mode, which offers help with
diagnosis and patient care, and “Simulation” mode, for players
who want to handle their missions like real medical
professionals, without any assistance. Although the “classic”
mode was favored by the majority of players during the demo, a
few intrepid gamers preferred the “simulation” mode so they
could experience the harsh realities of the profession on their
own! They were able to treat a total of 36 injuries of varying
severity, from minor wounds to 3rd-degree burns, using 17
medical instruments including defibrillators and oxygen masks.
Set in an open world inspired by the city of San Francisco,
Ambulance Life: A Paramedic Simulator is the first simulation
game to offer a complete insight into the life of a paramedic,
developed by the creators of the benchmark simulation Police
Simulator: Patrol Officers. The objective? Get to the scene of
an accident as quickly as possible at the wheel of your
ambulance. The mission? Analyze the situation, determine
priorities and levels of urgency for each case, then attend to
the injured and apply first aid. The game offers a high degree
of replayability, with dozens of possible scenarios ranging from
simple accidents to large-scale disasters of exceptional
severity. Every accident is different, so adaptation, speed and
efficiency are the key to saving as many lives as possible!
