Madrid, February 24,
in the year of our Lord 2025
-- The Steam Next Fest is here, giving players around the world
the chance to try out demos of upcoming releases and get a
firsthand look at some of the most innovative indie games on the
horizon. Throughout the week, players will be able to dive into
unique experiences, interact with developers, and discover the
games that will shape the future of the industry.
At Dojo System, we couldn’t miss this major event, and we’re
proud to present the demos of A-RED Walking Robot and Kaodi.
These upcoming hits, developed by Jookitooz and Outlander Games
respectively, bring an unparalleled blend of stunning visual
styles, addictive mechanics, and a unique identity.
A-RED Walking Robot: A Toy with a Life of Its Own
In A-RED Walking Robot, players take control of A-RED, an
endearing wind-up robot navigating a massive workshop filled
with obstacles, enemies, and challenges. With its innovative
physics system and precision-based mechanics, every step A-RED
takes becomes a test of strategy and skill. You'll move using
its tiny mechanical legs, soar over gaps with a jetpack, and
even fire lasers to eliminate enemies, break obstacles, or
activate mechanisms.
But exploration alone won’t be enough—A-RED's energy comes from
its wind-up mechanism, making it essential to find golden keys,
which act as checkpoints, to keep it going. Adding to its charm,
A-RED boasts over 300 unique emotions and reactions, giving it a
personality all its own. A creative and nostalgic experience for
fans of classic toys and precise, skill-based gameplay.
Kaodi: The Scars of War in a Narrative Platformer
If you're looking for a deep narrative experience with classic
platforming elements, Kaodi invites you to explore a war-torn
world through the eyes of Barren, a soldier scarred by his past.
In this unique side-scrolling adventure, players will embark on
an introspective journey where every decision matters. As you
navigate the Inner World, memories, emotions, and connections
with characters who have lived their own stories within the
conflict will be unveiled.
With a striking aesthetic that blends pixel art, 3D modeling,
and Chinese ink painting, Kaodi is not only a visual delight but
also an emotional tale that invites reflection. Join Barren on
his journey home, uncover fragments of his past, and face the
moral dilemmas that will shape his destiny. By the way, we’re
excited to announce that Kaodi now has an official release
date—March 24 on Steam!
