Two United Assault Games Announced
Family Friendly Gaming News
PORTLAND, OR--March 18, in the year of our Lord 2025--As
the shadow of Nazism looms over the world, muster your courage
to fight for liberty in United Assault: Normandy and United
Assault: World War 2. GS2 Games is bringing these FPS military
simulators to PlayStation 5 as separate releases on March 18,
2025. Both games feature improved graphics, and United Assault –
Normandy includes additional maps and overhauled AI introduced
in the PC version's free content update.
War never changes, but your duties are never the same. In United
Assault: Normandy ‘44, you infiltrate occupied France to pave
the way for Allied forces to land on D-Day, with objectives that
change for each mission. Command might task you with destroying
a squad of Nazi Panzer IV tanks or recovering classified
documents before quietly making your retreat to safety, or you
could land at your destination and learn an entire village is
depending on you for liberation.
United Assault: Normandy ‘44 sends you to 19 towns and locations
recreated from their real-world counterparts, including Utah
Beach, and puts 15 period-accurate weapons in your hands. You
don't get to choose all 15 at once, though. New and better
weapons unlock as you successfully complete missions, and you
can customize your starting loadout for an extra advantage.
United Assault: World War 2 takes the fight to a global stage.
This time, your missions take you to Stalingrad, North Africa,
southern Sicily, and Midway in the Pacific Ocean, each map a
vast, open world that tests your planning and survival skills.
Objectives change every time a mission starts, and it's your job
to decide which ones are worth doing and in what order. Bigger
theaters of war require more weapons. United Assault – World War
2 gives you 45 authentically recreated weapons from the period,
including special guns with unique attachments that affect their
performance in battle.
Features:
● Roguelike missions, with new objectives every time you set out
● Dozens of period-accurate weapons to plan your loadouts around
● Authentically recreated locations from World War 2
battlefields
● Rewarding progression with meaningful improvements as you
level up
