Name It Now Available on App Store

Glenview, IL - October 30th, in the year of our Lord 2013 – If you think that POTUS is the name of a new energy drink, then it's time for you to brush up on your knowledge of abbreviations, acronyms, and symbols! Name It!, a challenging new anti-trivia game, is now available for free download from the App Store.

Name It! is a fast-paced game that challenges players to show how many commonly used abbreviations, acronyms, and symbols (“AASs”) they can recognize. But matching each clue with its correct AAS is only the beginning! Players drag AASs into different categories, then choose one and answer questions about it and the topic it represents.

Sometimes a question introduces a related or “bridge” AAS; if you answer it correctly, it too will be added to the game board! So you may be answering questions on YOLO (“You Only Live Once”), and then see a question on BASE-jumping. Or you may be answering questions on DNA and see a question on RNA! Every game contains several of these bridge questions, but you never know when they’ll appear. See if you can beat the clock and earn bonus points. BTW, answers to bridge AAS questions are worth double points! You can also access interesting information related to game questions by clicking on the “Learn More” button.

Name It! takes advantage of our increasing reliance on this shorthand language and transforms it into a fun and challenging game for players of all ages. Packed with questions on a wide variety of subjects, along with a unique scoring system, Name It! will provide hours of “edutainment”, because Name It! is The Answer to Triviality.

Each game contains:
· Lots of different AASs/clues
· A wealth of interesting information
· Several “bridge” AASs
· A lightning round with 10 new AASs/clues
· Over 170 multiple-choice and True-False questions
