Nintendo Direct 09-04-2013
Cordova, TN; September 4, in the year of our Lord 2013 --A representative from the Pokemon Company welcomes us. Or his translator welcomes us in English. Pokemon Bank is introduced. Three thousand Pokemon can be saved in Pokemon Bank - which is on the Internet. Poke Transporter is also introduced. Pokemon from Pokemon Black, Pokemon White, Pokemon Black 2, and Pokemon White 2 can be transferred to Pokemon X or Pokemon Y. They have to be transferred to Pokemon Bank first though. There is an annual fee for Pokemon Bank. Advertisement for the Pokemon website is plugged. Pokemon Bank is being sold as Pokemon in the Cloud.
Shoko Nakagawa (Japanese actress and singer) is shown. Her love of Pokemon is referenced. She wanted something like Pokemon Bank to give her older Pokemon to her kids and grandkids. The love fest for Pokemon Bank continues. In the past they let families transfer their Pokemon to games on the Gamecube and Wii from the Gameboy Advance, and Nintendo DS versions. This is referred to as Pokemon Box, and it was free. Pokemon Bank costs money. Another advertisement for the Pokemon website.
In past Pokemon games the professor gives you the first Pokemon. In Pokemon X and Pokemon Y your friend gives you the first Pokemon (Chespin, Fennekin, or Froakie). The professor will give you a different Pokemon later. The professor will give you one of the three original Pokemon's - Bulbasaur, Charmander, or Squirtle. The original three will have a brand new morphing form to become Mega versions of their final forms. The trainer has a Mega Ring, and the Pokemon has a Mega Stone to reach the new Mega forms. Other Pokemon besides these three will also have Mega forms.
They hope to bring back players from Pokemon Red and Pokemon Blue. Probably due to the continued diminishing of Pokemon over the years. Release date plug again. It will be released in seven different languages on launch day. The host has been with Pokemon for a long time. He wants everyone to experience the Mega Morphs together.
