PlayStation®Vita Summer Select Showcases Independent Games with Launch-Week Discounts for PlayStation®Plus Members

August 19, in the year of our Lord 2013 -- Sony Computer Entertainment America LLC (SCEA) today announced the lineup for PlayStation®Vita Summer Select, a new PlayStation®Store event highlighting upcoming downloadable games and offering special launch-week deals for PlayStation®Plus members.

Continuing PlayStations commitment and dedication to support independent developers and bringing their unique game experiences to gamers, PS Vita Summer Select will feature four indie games launching over the next four weeks. The lineup includes two-button fighter Divekick, treasure-hunting platformer Spelunky, rhythm-combat game KickBeat and 16-bit RPG Dragon Fantasy: Book II.

Additionally, gamers will be able to take advantage of PlayStations Cross-Buy functionality for all four titles, allowing them to purchase a title on one platform (PS3 or PS Vita) and receive the other version at no additional cost.

PlayStation Plus members will receive a 20 percent discount on each title (both PS Vita and PS3 versions) during their respective launch weeks.
