UPDATE {05/30/2014}:
Nintendo 3DS and Wii U versions also releasing June 3rd.
On Wednesday we announced June 3rd as the release date for 1001
Spikes on PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita and Steam. The good
news is that the Wii U and 3DS versions will now be releasing
alongside the aforementioned consoles.
Now, you're probably wondering why didn't we just announce it
then. At the time, we were still in the process of finalizing an
awesome loyalty discount for 3DS players who already own ANY
Nicalis titles to get $5 dollars off of 1001 Spikes MSRP of
$14.99.
The other being that at the eleventh hour a few issues were
discovered in the game which left us with two options. One being
we push back the release date on Nintendo consoles or put it out
as is with those issues.
However, Nintendo has assured us that an update could be issued
within a couple of days of release to knock out those bugs.
Ultimately, we chose the latter because our fans want to play
the game and we don't plan to leave our Nintendo fans behind on
a game they've been patiently waiting for.
