Prior to Rising Star Games' deal with Coilworks, Steam users
voted in droves to have Cloudbuilt added to Valve's service via
Steam Greenlight.
"Steam's Greenlight is a great indicator of what people want to
play and Cloudbuilt breezed through this process due to its
refreshing take on the platform genre," said Martin Defries,
managing director & COO of Rising Star Games. "As a
community-driven publisher we are delighted to release a title
with such great feedback and we're confident that Cloudbuilt
will further enhance our growing Steam library. The hardworking
team at Coilworks have produced a fantastic game and we can't
wait to see which routes players take for the fastest times."
"We were thrilled from the very start that Rising Star Games
were so excited about Cloudbuilt, and their passion for the
project is really motivating for the team here at Coilworks,
making it very easy for us to work together," said Martin
Löwgren, co-founder and CEO of Coilworks. "Making games is
something we know how to do, but being a small indie start-up
involves so much more than that, and we are super happy to have
such a great opportunity to work with an experienced publisher
like Rising Star Games."
