Dungeon of the Endless Hits Beta
Paris, France — June 19,
in the year of our Lord 2014 — Award-winning indie
developer Amplitude Studios stepped through the dungeon door
today by hitting the Beta stage of development on Steam’s Early
Access program with its quirky, rogue-like dungeon-defense game
Dungeon of the Endless, now freshly scented with a handful of
attractive features. Taking the title to new heights of
strategic role-playing fun, the robust Beta update is packed
with tasty additions from more starting characters, doors,
floors, monsters, and items, among other improvements.
While traditional Early Access Beta updates increase in price,
the 25% discount from the Alpha version of Dungeon of the
Endless will be extended until the end of the Steam Summer Sale.
So, if you haven’t opened the door yet, it’s now time!
By ascending to the Beta milestone on Steam’s Early Access
program, PC players can now engage in the fresh, new, and
whimsically daunting upgrade. The Beta version of Dungeon of the
Endless features:
MORE OF EVERYTHING: More doors, floors, monsters, heroes, items,
modules and surprises
HEROES: Choose your starting heroes and use powerful skills to
survive this hell
SCIENCE!: Use Science to build and level-up modules and make
those monsters cry
NEW GAME MODES: Unlock new starting spaceships to discover
complete new game modes
IMPROVED CONTROLS: Refined game system and controls requested by
the community
NEW TRACKS: Enjoy two brand new awesome FlybyNo music tracks
Dungeon of the Endless reached Steam’s Early Access in its Alpha
form in December 2013. A rogue-like dungeon-defense game
offering a retro 2D look with modern 3D graphics on PC, Dungeon
of the Endless enables players to equip a team, gather resources
and construct defenses, and explore an infinite number of
dungeons in an effort to reach the planet’s surface. Each time
players start a new game, they will experience a totally new,
randomly generated map, collect resources just like those found
in Endless Space (Dust, Food, Industry, and Science), and battle
an armada of fiesty alien enemies.
