Koei Tecmo America Launches Samurai Warriors 4
BURLINGAME, Calif. – October 21, in the year of our Lord 2014
– KOEI TECMO America is elated to announce to fans across North
America that the tactical action game SAMURAI WARRIORS 4 has
launched today for the PlayStation®4 and PlayStation®3 computer
entertainment systems and PS®Vita system. SAMURAI WARRIORS 4
pays tribute to a decade of the tactical action WARRIORS brand
that has sold over 34 million units worldwide with a new chapter
of the Warring States saga and the franchise’s first-ever
appearance on new generation systems with its release on
PlayStation 4. The ever-changing series offers an entirely new
SAMURAI WARRIORS experience with an abundance of new content and
upgrades including devastating attacks, numerous gameplay and
story modes in stunning HD resolutions.

SAMURAI WARRIORS 4 offers an impressive roster of 55 playable
characters including new warriors and returning favorites which
have received major graphical upgrades and rearranged battle
moves. Eradicating the enemy ranks is more thrilling than ever
with new maneuvers including Hyper Attacks which allow for rapid
movement on the battlefield, a powerful Rage Attack and deadly
finishing moves with Mighty Strikes.
Conceived to honor the dedicated players of the series, the
SAMURAI WARRIORS 4: Special Anime Pack, exclusively for the
PlayStation 4, treats fans to a treasure trove of SAMURAI
WARRIORS content including the SAMURAI WARRIORS: Legend of
Sanada anime, the official game soundtrack and several DLC packs
housed in commemorative 10th anniversary Collector's Edition
packaging.
SAMURAI WARRIORS 4 is developed by Omega Force and published in
North America by KOEI TECMO America. The PlayStation 3 and PS
Vita system versions are available for digital download through
the PlayStation® Store for $49.99 and $39.99, respectively. The
PlayStation 4 standard edition (physical/digital) is available
for $59.99 and the Collector's Edition SAMURAI WARRIORS 4:
