WeMade Entertainment Annual Revenue Jumps 90 Percent

Mobile Games revenues increase more than 1,000 percent as WeMade moves into global marketplace

Irvine, Calif. (Feb. 12, in the year of our Lord 2014) - WeMade Entertainment Co. Ltd. (KOSDAQ: 112040), a global game publisher that challenges the boundaries of what is possible in mobile and online games, has announced it has increased its year-over-year revenue by 90 percent, lifted by revenues generated by its mobile game products that have produced revenue increases of more than 1,000 percent compared to 2012.

WeMade, headquartered in Seoul, Korea, with its wholly-owned North American subsidiary, WeMade Entertainment USA, located in Irvine, Calif., recorded annual revenue of USD $208 million (KRW 227.4 billion) for 2013 and fourth quarter revenue of USD $43 million (KRW 47 billion). The fourth quarter revenue was an increase of 35 percent, compared to the same period in 2012.

WeMade's mobile games contributed heavily to the company's overall year-over-year revenue growth. In 2013, the company launched more than 20 mobile games in Korea, Japan, North America and China, generating USD $129 million (KRW 140.8 billion) in revenue. Mobile game revenues now account for more than 60 percent of WeMade's total revenue. The revenue increase is an indication that WeMade's strategic move into the mobile games sector is paying dividends, and solidifies the company as one of the top global mobile game developers.

"We have made a concerted effort to build a world-class mobile game development team and have created some of the most compelling titles available," said Won Il Sue, Executive Vice President of WeMade’s Global Business Division. " PC games are still a strength for us, but we realized that having a global presence in the mobile game space was an important long-term growth strategy that is showing excellent results."

Mobile games that helped drive revenue in 2013 included titles such as "WIND RUNNER," "Every Town," and "Atlan Story" as well as by the successful launch of a global version of "WIND RUNNER" in partnership with LINE in Japan. In December, WeMade USA successfully released a mobile version of "WIND RUNNER" to audiences in North America, Europe and Eastern Europe. The company has effectively diversified its revenue sources by adding new mobile games revenues to the steady and consistent earnings from its online PC game services, such as "Legend of Mir2."

Additionally, WeMade is expecting a further growth in the mobile game sector as its wholly owned subsidiaries in Japan and North America prepare for direct game publishing services for "Atlan Story," which will be release as "Heroes of Atlan," and other high-quality WeMade products. "Heroes of Atlan” is scheduled for release in Western territories in March.

"WeMade's goal for 2014 is global business expansion," Sue said. "Our plans are to ensure the continuation of growth by securing mid-to-long term increases from online PC games and aggressively expanding our business in the mobile game sector. Because of what we've learned by the successful transformation of WeMade from a PC-game only publisher to a global develop of mobile games, we are confident in our international expansion plans. Our know-how and goal-driven focus gives WeMade a competitive advantage, even in a crowded mobile gaming market."

With all of this money WeMade should have no problem advertising on the Family Friendly Gaming website. When you email, or post to them about that please do so in a respectful and kind manner.
