Harvest Moon The Lost Valley Gets DLC
Burlingame, CA. – January 27, in the year of our Lord 2015
-- Natsume Inc. today launched downloadable content for the
recently released Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley for Nintendo
3DS. The launch of the DLC marks the first time ever that a
Harvest Moon game has included downloadable content. Players can
grab this new content right from the game and check out the
newest additions to their farming world.
All of the current and upcoming DLC includes content requested
by fans from across the internet. The current DLC pack includes
a much-requested addition to the player's dresser – new outfits
and hairstyles!
The new outfits will include clothing for both the female
protagonist and the male protagonist. Each will receive a trio
of outfits, including a new Dairy Farmer outfit for each. Both
will also receive a new hairstyle. The new content can be
accessed from a player's dresser. If players have not yet built
the dresser, they can do so by talking to Doc, the eccentric
inventor.
“We made a promise with Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley that we
would continue to innovate and listen to our fans and their
feedback, and by providing the first-ever DLC for a Harvest Moon
game, we are keeping that promise,” said Hiro Maekawa, President
and CEO at Natsume. "January's additions are only the
beginning...we are excited to bring fans a variety of new
content to shape their valleys in new ways in the coming
months."
Future DLC packs will include new items to customize the Lost
Valley itself, along with new crops, recipes, and plenty more.
There's even some whispers that new love is in the air, but
whether these rumors are true remain to be seen! All of these
DLC packs will also be made available in Europe, after Harvest
Moon: The Lost Valley launches later this year.
Harvest Moon The Lost Valley has received dismal sales since its
launch on November 4, in the year of our Lord 2014. None of the
things Family Friendly Gaming requested were included in Harvest
Moon The Lost Valley. Will the inclusion of DLC in Harvest Moon
The Lost Valley help turn around its death spiral?
