Nyko Type Pad for PlayStation 4 Releases

announced the release of the Type Pad for PlayStation 4®, a full
QWERTY keyboard attachment that snaps onto the bottom of a
DUALSHOCK 4® controller. The Type Pad helps gamers seamlessly
input text and provides a mini-analog nub for quick menu
navigation, as well as “.com” and “@” shortcuts for easy e-mail
address and URL input. Ending a game with “GG” has never been

“With the rise of game streaming and eSports, gaming has never
been more collaborative and communicative,” said Chris Arbogast,

to create a tool that would let on-screen navigation and

The Type Pad for PS4 can be charged simultaneously with the
controller using any standard micro-USB cable, and can also be
switched on and off at will to conserve battery.
