Tametsi Announced

Washington, D.C., October 2, in the year of our Lord 2017 - A challenging new logic game has been announced by independent developer Grip Top Games.

Tametsi is a Minesweeper-esque game, but played on a multitude of different tilings. The objective is to use clues to identify hidden mines and safely mark them; players can enjoy these familiar puzzle rules in dozens of different situations, from square and hexagonal layouts to more exotic arrangements. Every puzzle in Tametsi is hand-designed, and the difficulty ramps up mercilessly across 100 levels.

Every puzzle begins with a few revealed tiles, which tell how many of their neighbors contain mines. From these meager bits of information, puzzlers can make their way across the board, deducing which tiles contain mines and which are safe to reveal. Different tilings not only look different, they also lead to very different types of puzzles, forcing players to adapt or else begin falling for traps.

One very important fact about Tametsi is that guessing is never required (or a good idea). From the gentle tutorial to the deceptively complex puzzles at the end, every level is solvable with logic and determination.

No word on a physical copy of this game on this systems at this time. Families are required to pay for Internet usage fees to download this game. For more information click here.
