Konami Reveals Patch Details for 3 Anniversary Collections

June 18, in the year of our Lord 2019 -- Following the surprise launch of the Contra Anniversary Collection last week, Konami Digital Entertainment Inc., today announced details and the release of a patch for all three Anniversary Collections – Arcade Classics, Castlevania and Contra – that adds the option to play Japanese versions of numerous titles.

The free patch for the Arcade Classics Anniversary Collection, the Castlevania Anniversary Collection and the Contra Anniversary Collection is available to download on all platforms today.

In addition to the Japanese versions detailed below, the patch also includes the frequently requested Button Remapping feature for the Castlevania Anniversary Collection and Contra Anniversary Collection, plus minor bug fixes for Arcade Classics and Castlevania.

All announced Anniversary Collections are part of KONAMI’s 50th anniversary celebration and compiles titles from its beloved franchises and retro games. Packaged together with Bonus Book extras, these digital exclusive collections provide a comprehensive look in to each game’s history and beginnings.
