Pocoyo Party Releases
Madrid, April 15th, in the year of our Lord 2021 -
Sony Interactive Entertainment Spain (SIE Spain), Zinkia and Reco
Technology are excited to announce that Pocoyo Party, the new party
game based on the Pocoyo IP, releases today in Europe and America on
PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. You can find Pocoyo Party in your
retail store in Europe or grab a digital copy at the PlayStation
Store for €29,99 / $29.99.
Designed for players aged 3 to 5, Pocoyo Party has adapted its games
to provide an enjoyable and rewarding experience for this young
segment, making minimal use of buttons. The game focuses on a simple
gameplay experience —with short, dynamic mini-games— to allow
children to progress through the game. Pocoyo Party will recreate
the animated series universe and its iconic visual language,
focusing on its values of respect, friendship, sustainability and
promotion of healthy habits.
Pocoyo Party will also feature a local multiplayer experience for
the whole family can jump into the world of Pocoyo. As a bonus, the
game will also feature eight new episodes from the latest season of
the series. The game has been developed by Zinkia, in collaboration
with Spanish studio Recotechnology. Both studios have partnered with
experts in development and content creation focused on young
audiences.
Present in over 150 television channels, Pocoyo is one of the most
recognizable children’s brands in the digital medium, available on
40 VOD platforms. Pocoyo is also extremely successful on YouTube,
where its channel has grown by 70% in 2020, reaching 5.5 billion
views and over 27 million subscribers.
