Carnivores Dinosaur Hunt DLC Releases

Chicago, Ill – August 23, in the year of our Lord 2022 – The only thing better than hunting dinosaurs on an alien planet is hunting brand-new dinosaurs, and that’s just what Cretaceous Terror Pack, the first DLC pack for Carnivores: Dinosaur Hunt, adds to Digital Dreams Entertainment Inc.’s hunting game. The DLC launches alongside a substantial new features update for PC and console, and Carnivores: Dinosaur Hunt is now available for free on Steam to owners of Carnivores: Dinosaur Hunter Reborn.

Cretaceous Terror Pack features two new terrifying and deadly theropods for you to hunt or die trying. The Giganotosaurus was one of the largest dinosaurs to roam Earth, but despite its gargantuan size, the beast was twice as fast as its distant relation, the Tyrannosaurus Rex – and only half as smart. Giganotosaurus makes lakes its hunting grounds and tends to move in circular patterns, so bear that in mind while planning your approach.

Next is the Carnotaurus, another distant relation of the Tyrannosaurus Rex that’s even deadlier than both its famous cousin and the Giganotosaurus. Two distinct horns above its eyes distinguish the Carnotaurus from other theropods, not that you’ll have much time to admire them. Carnotaurus can move at speeds of 35 mph and quickly take down their prey, so prepare carefully before hunting this one.

Carnivores: Dinosaur Hunt will release for free on Steam for anyone who already owns Carnivores: Dinosaur Hunter Reborn alongside a colossal update built on a powerful new engine. The update features a wealth of improvements, chief among which is a feature that lets players adjust dinosaur spawn rates and density at will.

Other improvements in the Steam version include enhancements to dinosaur behavior, refined locomotion, blood trails for injured dinos, a tutorial, and even an indicator that alerts players when the wind carries their scent to a dinosaur.

Carnivores: Dinosaur Hunt DLC will also launch on Xbox One™, PlayStation®4 and Nintendo Switch™ with an update that adds the spawn feature to consoles, along with refinements to the user interface, in-game economy, and progression system.
