November 24, in the year of our Lord 2022 -- Hasbro’s original life simulation game, The Game of Life 2, is coming to Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S! Bringing life lessons to consoles around the world, young players will be able to road-test their life choices in a bright, fun 3D world.

Marmalade Game Studio, creators of iconic digital board games on all platforms, are releasing The Game of Life 2 on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. This award-winning family favourite has already seen great success on mobile, PC, Nintendo Switch and PlayStation, and it’s received over 345 million views on YouTube and Twitch.

The Game of Life 2 follows Hasbro’s classic and beloved board game, The Game Of Life, which has been played by millions of friends and families in over 50 countries around the world. With new gameplay, that refreshes the structure of the original, young players can make choices that reflect familiar modern-day values.

An added “crossroad moment” allows players to put off big decisions until later in the game. This means that going to College, getting married, or buying a property, can happen early or late in life. And if they’ve already been to College, they can go back, upskill, and change career paths. Players can start out as a Video Blogger, then go to College and qualify as a Surgeon!

With every spin, young players have the chance to invest in themselves and their future. Every decision earns points for Wealth, Happiness, or Knowledge. Investing in an educational course will earn Knowledge and investing in a property will count towards overall Wealth, while spending money on concert tickets will increase Happiness. These investments steer the course of the game, but the road isn’t always clear! The Game of Life 2 provides the choices, and the Spinner takes care of unexpected twists and turns. In this board game, no life journey goes exactly to plan!

All Marmalade Game Studio games support cross-platform multiplayer. This means that players on Xbox One and Xbox Series S|X can join their friends on mobile, PC, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation. There are multiple modes including Open Online Multiplayer, Private Online Multiplayer, Offline Local Multiplayer, and Offline Single Player.
