Ikonei Island An Earthlock Adventure Release Date
London, United Kingdom - September 27th,
in the year of our Lord 2023 - Publisher Jetpack Collective
and Snowcastle Games, an independent Oslo-based game developer, has
announced that a new demo for Ikonei Island: An Earthlock Adventure
will be launching on Steam on Monday October 9th. This version will
allow anyone to get a taste of exploring this delightful adventure
game, and includes the ability for up to 3 demo players to play the
co-op multiplayer version of the game for free when they join
another player who owns the full game.
Ikonei Island is a gorgeous, cosy adventure that you can play solo
or with your friends. You explore the beautiful island, uncover
hidden mysteries, collect items to craft a charming home and bond
with magical creatures. The game is reminiscent of cosy classics
like Stardew Valley, Animal Crossing and Dinkum, but brings its own
depth of narrative as it taps into the enchanting themes originally
explored in Snowcastle’s Earthlock.
Along with compelling genre staples like resource gathering,
farming, crafting and customisation systems, Ikonei Island add its
own twists with an exploration mechanic that sees you make friends
with local wildlife and use their unique abilities to help you
access new areas of the island, encounters with perilous pirate
camps, monsters to battle and the ability to experience it all in
co-op with your friends.
Snowcastle have also announced the games full price of £20.99
($24.99) will be introduced from October 8th but that players will
be able to pick up the game for just £11.39 ($14.99) until then.
Ikonei Island is currently available in Early Access on Steam and
coming to the Epic Games Store, PlayStation, Xbox and, later,
Nintendo Switch.
