Word Web by POWGI Releases
Staffordshire, UK, September 12, in the year of our Lord
2023 – Lightwood Games has announced the release of the
latest word puzzle game in their popular “by POWGI” series.
Word Web by POWGI is released on Tuesday 12th September on
PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5; on Wednesday 13th September on Xbox
One and Xbox Series X|S; and on Thursday 14th September on Nintendo
Switch.
Word Web is a new word puzzle where the player has to complete a
grid containing 25 different letters in order to spell a number of
target words. The words can be spelled in any direction along the
“web” of lines in the grid - the challenge is that words will almost
never read left-to-right!
These puzzles are solved using deduction, by considering letters
that need to be used more than once, and the possible routes that
can be used to spell a word. This should appeal to fans of our
previous logic-based puzzles, such as Wordsweeper by POWGI and Word
Sudoku by POWGI. Word Web is sometimes also known by the name Gogen.
Word Web by POWGI has 120 puzzles to solve, with 120 of our
trademark bad jokes as a “reward” for solving them.
It is priced at $7.99 / GBP £6.49 / €7.99 and rated ESRB E for
Everyone / PEGI 3.
