- Rec Room, the popular user-generated content (UGC) game, is
excited to announce its official launch on the Nintendo Switch ™
Console on November, 6 2024, making it the most cross-platform game
of all time, available on 10 platforms. Rec Room is free-to-play and
will offer Nintendo Switch players a unique social gaming experience
where players can not only play but also create and share their own
games. With millions of player-created rooms - ranging from escape
rooms and racing challenges to PVP matches and more - players have
endless opportunities to connect with friends and build their own
worlds.
With more than 100 million lifetime users, players from across the
world can create, share, and play games together across platforms.
Whether on VR headsets, consoles, mobile devices or now the Nintendo
Switch, Rec Room supports cross-play, ensuring players can enjoy the
experience together no matter their device. Rec Room on the Nintendo
Switch will also include integrated voice chat, allowing players to
seamlessly communicate with friends in real-time as they
collaborate, compete, and explore new adventures.

Rec Room will officially launch on Wednesday November 6, 2024.
Switch players can pre-register at rec.net/switch to be notified as
soon as Rec Room is available. As a special bonus, all
pre-registrants will receive an exclusive in-game reward at launch.
Rec Room offers Junior accounts for players aged 12 and younger
providing a safe environment with restricted access to certain
