Odyssey has been released today on Steam. Shui's Odyssey is a
narrative-driven puzzle game based on exquisite hand-drawn
illustrations. This delicate story unfolds as the player pieces
together fragments of memories from Alzheimer's patients, to
reconstruct the truth of the story and witness the passage of time
from the village women's perspective. The game is available for
$4.99 and players can enjoy a 10% launch discount until November
17th. The OST can be acquired for $3.99.
WHEN ALZHEIMER FEELS LIKE A PUZZLE GAME
Join Xiao Shui as she dives into 30 years of memories from the women
living in a small Chinese village. A bittersweet narrative exploring
their dreams and regrets from their first loves to their final
moments. The faded rememberings of three generations talking about
love, family and friendship.
The narrative is told through the resolution of interactive puzzles
where small details can have a subtle meaning. Intentional Studio
put all their feelings into this game inspired by real-life
experiences and chose a beautifully made hand-drawn illustration and
delicate animations that will immerse the player in a highly
emotional captivating experience.
