St. Petersburg, Florida, May 8th, in the year of our Lord 2024: Indie game developer and debut publisher 74BIT is proud to announce the upcoming release of Super Dr Corona, a retro-inspired puzzler with a humorous twist paying homage to the immortal Match-3 gaming genre adding a host of new and contemporary improvements to the timeless classic. Designed and produced exclusively for PC via STEAM™, Super Dr Corona is scheduled for a worldwide release on May 31st 2024.

Super Dr Corona takes you back to the crazy days of 2020 when “King Corona” and his evil Variants have taken hold over the globe. Surprisingly, all the world’s leading scientists and medical experts have vanished, and it is up to the “Top-Chief” and his group of Non-Medical Experts to produce a working vaccine that will ultimately destroy and dethrone the infectious king! You are responsible for the fate of humanity!

Super Dr Corona features the classic Match-3 style of gameplay adding fun new enhancements and improvements: Your basic goal is to match blocks of the same color to destroy viruses, and the real fun begins when you achieve Supers and create explosive and brilliant combos! Blast through 5 stages in Arcade Mode featuring different types of viruses and rack up amazing scores by mastering the games techniques. The game really comes alive when you play head-to-head in a race to generate the most vaccines and even use boosters to slow down your opponent or to boost you up. Supers are powerful blocks that destroy viruses in unique ways and your Super-meter is replenished by destroying blocks. There are 14 unique Supers in the game adding tons of depth. 14 unique playable characters can be unlocked by playing through the Arcade or by uncovering secrets within the game. You can even rub taunts into the face of your opponent as you play against them!
