cyubeVR PSVR2 Release Date
BUXTEHUDE, GERMANY, MARCH 10, in the year
of our Lord 2024 — Stonebrick Studios is excited to
announce that cyubeVR, the community-favorite VR voxel game with a
92% positive rating from almost 1,000 reviews on Steam, is set to
launch on PlayStation®VR2 on March 16th, 2024. Celebrating this
announcement, the official PS VR2 trailer is released today,
offering a detailed look at the game’s stunning visuals and
immersive VR mechanics.
About cyubeVR:
cyubeVR is a creative sandbox game that propels the excitement of
block building into a new dimension. Its intuitive crafting
mechanics are tailor-made for virtual reality, while its stunning
visual fidelity fully utilizes the power of PlayStation®VR2 on PS5:
Unreal Engine textures in 8K meet eye-tracked foveated rendering,
achieving unparalleled clarity and detail. The compelling gameplay
gives players the ultimate creative freedom, while also offering
linear objectives to those more interested in a guided approach to
progression and exploration in a beautiful open world.
The release of cyubeVR on PlayStation®VR2 promises to introduce this
highly acclaimed experience to a wider audience than just PCVR, with
enhancements that leverage the advanced capabilities of the PSVR2
platform. Eye-tracked foveated rendering actually allows the PS5 to
be similarly powerful like a PC with a high-end GPU like a RTX 3090
- cyubeVR would simply not have worked on PSVR2 without dynamic
foveated rendering.
Key Highlights:
Immersive voxel-based open world with mining and 3d crafting using
your actual hands and highly unique VR building mechanics
A long, linear list of objectives that guide you through the whole
progression of the game
Large fully destructible and modifiable world with a dynamic weather
system and day-night cycle
Extreme visual fidelity, powered by Unreal Engine with detailed 8K
textures and foveated rendering
Official PS5 mod support, allowing to directly download and install
community-created blocks in the game (this is very unique on PS5!)
Comprehensive comfort settings, ensuring everyone can play the game
